Here’s a post I shared about why I think I’ve been able to stick with Orangetheory longer than any other fitness program. Here’s a post I shared about my experience working out at Orangetheory throughout my pregnancy. More Posts and Information about Orangetheory The best part about the $12 fee is that it holds you accountable for attending class, which is just the push that many people (including me) need. That late of a cancel doesn’t give them enough time to make plans to attend the class. On the other hand, if you do not cancel until 11 p.m., someone on the waitlist may already be asleep and not be notified that there is a spot for them. If you cancel Sunday night at 8 p.m., someone on the waitlist will be notified that there is room for them. This policy is set in place to make sure that classes are filled to capacity if there are that many people who want to attend.įor example, say 50 people want to attend the Monday 5 a.m. What if I missed an Orangetheory class I’d signed up for?Īt my local gym, members are charged $12 if they miss a class or if they cancel eight hours or less before the class begins. Technically Orangetheory will only honor your freeze for two months, but they will often make exceptions, so just talk with them. I froze my membership right before and after I had my third baby. ![]() Yes, you can freeze your membership, but you will be shared $15 per month during the freeze. This is the bread and butter of working out at Orangetheory! Orangetheory Cancelation FeeĪs long as you cancel 30 days in advance, there is no membership cancelation fee. You can also buy these monitors in used condition on buy/sell/trade sites, but will need your local Orangetheory to sync it with your personal information.ĭon’t skimp out on buying a heart rate monitor. I personally have the $70 monitor and don’t mind it in the slightest. The upper arm band must be frequently charged, but many prefer this to wearing it under their shirt. ![]() You will have two options: the monitor that you’ll wear around your upper arm for roughly $99 or the monitor that you wear under your shirt near the bottom of your bust for roughly $70. When you join Orangetheory, you’ll be encouraged to buy a heart rate monitor. Orangetheory runs promotions like this often, so keep an eye out! Orangetheory Heart Rate Monitor My price decreased by $10/month again during a promotion where one of my friends signed up and listed me as her referral. My Orangetheory price first decreased to $149/month when I signed a six-month contract. When I first signed up for unlimited though, it was $159/month. I can now go to as many classes as I want for $139. This was not enough classes for me (since I became hooked so fast), so I bumped up my membership to Orange Premier unlimited. When I first joined, I signed up for eight classes per month (Orange Elite) and paid $99. (I have heard that this price is higher in larger, more expensive cities like Manhattan or Los Angeles, so know that what I pay may not be standard in big cities.) I pay $139/month for unlimited classes at my local gym in Madison, Alabama. It’s the first workout that I’ve ever done consistently for over a year. I’d love to jump right in and answer that specific question for you about the Orangetheory price, as well as share a few other things with you about Orangetheory before you join. ![]() Boutique gyms with consistent class structure and instructors are popping up all over the world, and one of the biggest questions people ask me about my particular gym is the Orangetheory price.
